As well as a chance to drive our vehicles off-road, the new Dodge Journey and new Jeep Cherokee will be available to drive.

We will also
be launching our new loyalty card to customers which provides special
discounts and exclusive offers – there is normally a small charge for
this card but it will be free of charge to all customers who attend on
the day.

Join us for our annual off-road ride and drive day
Our guests will have the opportunity to test drive the latest range of
Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models and experience the fun of off road
driving on a dedicated course with professional instructors.
We will also be launching the brand new Dodge Journey and New Cherokee models with models available to view and drive.
There will be activities for all the family including side stalls and
the local zoo and animal parks 'Go Wild ' bus as well as prize draw
competitions, refreshments including a barbecue.

Registering for the off-road event does not constitute a booking. A booking will be made with you by a member of our team and confirmed in writing. Places are strictly limited.
Restrictions
Participants must be at least seventeen (17) years old and hold a full and valid UK drivers licence. We reserve the right to decline your participation in any course or event if we consider you are unfit to drive. Participants must present their driving licence if requested to do so, and will be required to abide by True Grip’s (the Company) rules as to health and safety at all times. Failure to adhere to the Company's lawful instructions whilst attending at the Company's site(s) will entitle the Company to ask the offender to leave the Company's premises, and to forcibly remove him / her if necessary. In such circumstances no refund will be provided, and the offender will be liable to indemnify the Company upon a full indemnity basis for any loss, damage or expense which results to the Company as a consequence.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome but must abide by True Grip’s Health and Safety information and obey the site rules at all times. Spectators enter the site at their own risk and accept that there may be risk to entering the site.
Medical Conditions
Participants must notify the True Grip and Dutton Forshaw of any medical condition likely to affect them.
Declaration and Disclaimer
Participants will be required to complete and sign a Declaration and Disclaimer prior to undertaking any course or event, and the terms of such shall be deemed to be incorporated into these terms and conditions.
Exclusion of Liability
So far as the law permits True Grip and Dutton Forshaw shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of any customer, participant, spectator or third party unless it is due to the negligence of the Company. True Grip and Dutton Forshaw shall have no liability for damage to property, consequential losses or expenses suffered, and howsoever arising, which includes but is not limited to loss of anticipated earnings, profits, reputation, goodwill, business receipts, contracts, losses or expenses resulting from third party claims

Dutton Forshaw Canterbury now forms part of the web site offering from the UK’s fifth largest automotive retailer Lookers Plc.
Lookers Plc acquired Dutton Forshaw and Dovercourt from Lloyds TSB
in October 2007. The acquisition included the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge
business at Canterbury which continues to trade under the Dutton
Forshaw name.
Dutton Forshaw Canterbury joins Lookers Hatfield and Lookers Romford
on its specialist website established to focus on the group’s Chrysler,
Jeep and Dodge brands. Originally set up to represent these brands in
the south east on behalf of Lookers, www.buyachryslerjeep.co.uk now
expands its regional offering with the inclusion of the Canterbury
business.

Modern American Cars to make their 'Marque' at Rally...
A taste of modern Americana awaits visitors to this year’s ‘Rally of the Giants 2008’ at Knebworth Park courtesy of local Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealer Lookers Hatfield Chrysler Group.
Some of the very best that today’s Stateside motoring can offer the discerning driver will be on view at the dealership’s stand at the extravaganza for lovers of older American cars on Sunday 27th July, which is organised by the Pre’50 American Auto Club.
Lookers Hatfield Chrysler Group’s stand highlights will include the all-new Chrysler Grand Voyager which comes with a brand new exterior and interior design plus an updated range of petrol and diesel engines.
Priced from £26,000, the Grand Voyager is now available at the dealership with six-speed automatic transmission and either a 3.8-litre V6 engine or a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. Three equipment levels – LX, Touring and Limited – are available.
From Jeep, the new 2008 Grand Cherokee will be one of the cars taking centre stage over the weekend on the stand. Prices for this class-leading 4x4 start from £26,995 and the majority of models are powered by a smooth and refined 3.0CRD diesel engine. The range-topping SRT-8 version comes with a 6.1-litre HEMI V8 petrol power plant.
Other Jeep models appearing at the show, or are currently available at the dealership, include the Compass, Wrangler, Cherokee and Patriot.
Meanwhile from Dodge, American muscle-car inspired styling can be found in the Avenger saloon and Nitro SUV, while those still wanting to stand out from the crowd might consider the Caliber hatchback.
Lookers Hatfield fulfils American Dreams
More than 500 people enjoyed some 'California Dreaming' and Hollywood style glitz at our all-American event at Hatfield House.
And for some dreams became reality with a high number of Lookers Hatfield’s special offer vehicles sold on the day and more people visiting the dealership this week to finalise their purchases.

LOOKERS HATFIELD LOOKING FORWARD IN 2008
Lookers Hatfield Chrysler Group has appointed a new sales manager – Jay Egilmez.
However, customers will recognise Jay as a familiar face as he was previously a senior sales specialist at the Great North Road showroom.
And his promotion coincides with that of Mark Jenner who swaps his Franchise Manager position and becomes General Manager.
New sales staff will be joining the expanding Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge team and will work alongside Sales Specialist Alastair Parnell and Used Car Specialist Mike Smith among others.
Jay said: “These are very exciting times for our three famous American marques because of such a diverse and interesting range of cars now taking their place in our showroom.
“And it’s thanks to these new arrivals that we’ve been able to expand our workforce. Who knows, with more models set to arrive, we could be looking to grow even further.”
Recent models launched at Lookers Hatfield Chrysler Group include the Dodge Nitro, Dodge Avenger, Chrysler Sebring, Jeep Patriot, Jeep Compass and redesigned Jeep Wrangler.
Both Jay and Alastair are also trained Motability specialists and are able to offer expert advice to people eligible for this motoring service.
